Our Mini Vacation In Mackinac Island

Yesterday we just get back from our mini vacation to Mackinac Island in Michigan which is four hours driving from our place to Mackinaw City and 30 minutes boat ride to the island. We did stay at Mackinaw City for a night for sightseeing and picture taking in the place during the day.

We did not stay Mackinac Island for the reason that we can get cheaper place at Mackinaw City to stay for the night. I am so happy and grateful for the great experience that I have. This was my first time to visit this place and I am so impressed of the place. 

Enjoy the beautiful scenery out there. I got to see the Mackinac Bridge and great lake of Michigan and great Lake of Huron. Also, we did enjoy the boat ride to the island the following morning and get to taste the delicious fudge. We did ride the horse and walk for sight seeing some of the nice places and beautiful scenery in the island. 

Oh, before I forget Mackinac Island is where they take the movie Somewhere In Time and it was a beautiful thing to know that I have been there. Love watching the lake, light house and seagull that they can freely fly. I would be happy to visit again if we have the budget and time to do it.

Classes just started and I know how busy the parents when classes starts, especially the mothers that most of the time who is the one will make it sure that their kids has all their needs and stuff in school taken care off. How exciting and what a privilege that what would be to become a parents and a mother? It was indeed a huge and great responsibility but it also a rewarding knowing that your kids will be at school and has a good future ahead of them.

Education is really very important in life that is why parents they had to sacrifice their time, money and effort to educate their children in order for the children to have knowledge and skills that would qualify them to have a good opportunity and job security in the near future. Children need to understand and realize that how important education and learning opportunity is. This will give them the better future and brighter tomorrows.

We have to take advantage the opportunities of learning while we can, this can be overwhelming at times but this will surely pay off when you’re done with your education. The reward of finishing your education is unbelievable. This will lead you to a good future and make you well accomplish and proud of the achievement that you have made in your life.

You cannot see the result right away for the reason that education takes time. Sometimes we feel of giving up for the reason that it takes a long time before we can get a degree. Three More Weeks Left Before Summer Ends

Just a quick reminder that three more weeks before summer ends, fall will be here before we know it and school will start again. Summer ends September 21, 2012 we need to make use of the days of what summer left. We cannot enjoy the fun activities outside anymore when summer ends like enjoying the hit of the summer at the beach, go fishing, take a walk and have a picnic at the local park. These are some of the fun activities that we gonna missed this summer.

Summer time is our best time for traveling, fun summer vacation, kid’s fun games, visit families and friends and many others. So if you are not doing that yet and you still have plan to do something fun this summer, you still have three weeks left. You need to look at your schedule and make arrangement of your time and do it.

We did have enjoyed our summer vacation this year we went to Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone Park and visit my sister and her family in Montana, we did have a fantastic vacation. I got to see these gorgeous places here in the US is amazing experiences ever and I am grateful for my husband for that. The good thing is we’re driving that time and I got to see different state here in the US and that’s awesome.

I know you have summer vacation as well, hope you have enjoyable and memorable summer vacation this year. If you don’t you have one yet, you still have three weeks left to do it. There are many fun things that we can do this summer and enjoy life while we can.

Take advantage to enjoy and see the amazing and incredible creation that God has made for us. Visiting and seeing those places that we have visited, well I can really attest that we have wonderful creation that God made for us and what a wonderful world we have.  

Olympic Games 2012 – At London

Olympic 2012 is the most exciting event for the people and for the whole world this year especially to the sports minded and athletic person or people that love sports and athletic event. Most of the people love sports this is the way that keep people active if you are into sports.

Olympic events and competition will give courage and inspiration to the people and children that are into sports. This will enhance their talents and abilities on whatever sports and talents that they are engage on. We can also give our moral support to these Olympians by following and being a fan for them.

  

Olympic Games are awesome activities and give people excitement to watch and curious of what country win in the games especially if you follow the entire activities. The more excitement you feel if you know somebody or your families are part or included in the event or in the Olympics games.

We also feel proud and happy if we know that they won the game. I know they will proud of themselves as well and you can see an overwhelming emotions for the winners of how happy they are for their achievements in life. But for the non-winners athletes better luck next time. I know they are still happy that they are part of the competition and enjoy every moment of the event.      

Hot Summer This Year 2012

We have hot summer this year, this very unusual heat that we have this year. We cannot able to stay long outside, it make us tired and dehydrated quickly. I know we need the heat of the summer but we need to be careful as well. Don’t forget to put sunscreen lotion before you will expose too much to the sun.

Summer is the only time of year that we can be active of our outside chores and activities. But this time of year the heat bothers us much, it was too much heat this year. During this time it is good to be in the water or in the pool all the time to take away the heat and to feel cool of this heat.

  

Also, this is the time of year that we need cold goodies like ice cream, shakes to cool us down and feel better and to satisfy our thirst from the summer heat. We know that we can get easily thirsty and feel hungry right away especially when we are expose from the heat like the beach, walking, jogging or whatever we do this summer. 

We just need to be in cool place this summer to enjoy this summer season and have unforgettable summer ever.  We have so many places available that we can go to and visit with that make our hot summer made into a cooler and magnificent one.

Are We In The Right Direction

We are traveling to Montana to visit my sister and her family. We did have good and fun time traveling and we just drove from our place to their place. It takes a while to arrive there and it takes us three days before we arrive to our destination from Michigan to Montana.  This is really a long drive but I got to experience again to see other state here in the USA.

While we are driving we got to follow the GPS so that we can arrive to our destination. There are times that my husband said that how accurate is the GPS to our direction. But we did look up also to our computer when we have time to stop if we really in the right direction to our destination. We got to look up the map so that we will not get lost and we know where we are at.

Sometimes we slow down driving for the reason that there is only one way each lane because of the road construction and we have speed it up again when there is no road construction so that we can reach to our destination as fast as we could. But we did enjoy the beauty of the sceneries like the mountain, valleys, farm land, watching different cars in the road and many other things that we encounter along the road while traveling.

Our life is this way, while we travel along our journey through life we need to be sure that we are in the right direction so that we will not get lost and we can reach to our destination safely. We have to check once in a while where we are at in our life. Sometimes we have doubts, fears, trials, stumbling block and feel tired along our journey but we still have to move on and keep going so that we can reach to our destination. We have to make it sure that we did the right thing, enjoy our life and appreciate whatever life would bring to us.
