Secret Tips For Cutting Flowers

Spring is time for flowers and then you might need a help on how to cut your fresh flowers that stay beautiful longer.

* Use flowers that have just opened, include buds as well.

* Make the cut just above a side branch on which another flower is forming.

* Take a vase or bucket of warm water with you to the cutting garden,

* Never use cold water. the life processes within plants are stimulated by warm. It is critical for the flowers to take up water after they have been cut.

* Bring the flowers indoors and store for two hours in a cool part of the house.

* Final arranging, re-cut each stem with a sharp knife or shears and place in a new container, again filled with warm water 100 to 110 F. Replace water everyday.
