Well, oatmeal not only lowers your blood cholesterol level, it also regulates your bowel movement and helps control your sugar level, reduce weight and prevent certain cancers. They said, adults that consume 20-35 grams of dietary fiber a day to maintain a normal digestive system. If you eat a cup of oatmeal in the morning, you can get about 7 to 8 grams of dietary fiber, so that is easy to achieve.

Oatmeal is an amazing food. I wish I liked it. I take extra fiber a day, to get my needed amount, because I don't like the texture of oatmeal. Great post~
